1- PRIVACY POLICY

1.1- LETTERS À LA CARTE doesn´t share any personal details and will never sell your information on to third-parties. The given information by Paypal includes your name, address and e-mail. Paypal keeps all of your card details private, encrypting the information to prevent fraud.

2- PAYMENT POLICY

2.1- Forms of Payment

2.1.1- LETTERS À LA CARTE gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express all through PayPal.

2.1.2- PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

2.1.3- It´s not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it.

2.2- Payment Conditions

2.2.1- Costomer must adjudicate the work (order) with 50% and the remaining 50% - until 3 days before the expedition date. LETTERS À LA CARTE starts the production after confirming receiving the 50% adjudication value. The lead time starts counting after this day.
LETTERS À LA CARTE reserves the right to postpone the expedition date until the remaining 50% are received and confirmed.

2.2.2- All pieces are our property until the payment is 100% received and confirmed.

2.2.3- The payment must be made by account transfer (in Euro €) and a confirmation (receipt) of the transfer must be send by e-mail:lettersalacarte@gmail.com or by PayPal transfer.
If you want to make a payment in a currency other than EUR, Paypal allows you to do so and automatically converts your payment at the point of sale.

3- PRODUCT

3.1- LETTERS À LA CARTE sells the alphabet in a wide range of styles and materials. Customers can create their own unique words or simply choose a significant letter or symbol.

3.2- Our pieces are made from crafted aluminum or wood with an aged painted finish to create an vitage aesthetics. Each piece comes with a standard european plug and on/off switch.

3.3- All the pieces comes with E14 5W energy saving bulbs. Customers can chose between old fashioned filliment 5W bulbs or halogen warm bulbs. All the pieces have a spare bulb included. The intensity of the bulbs may also vary from piece to piece.

3.4- Our pieces are fitted with a European plug and we can supply with a UK adaptor.

3.5- Our pieces are brand new and each piece is hand made by us. The construction and finish parts is manual, consequently, the folding of the metal or wood frame is variable and there may be marks to the paintwork.

3.6- Standard orders takes 2/3 weeks from the time of purchase to completion (includes time in transit of approx 3-5 days) within Europe.

3.7- LETTERS À LA CARTE is free of committing any design improvement without notification. Images on catalogue or website may vary from the final product.

3.8- LETTERS À LA CARTE reserve the right, without prior notice, to discontinue pieces or change specifications and prices on products.

4- PRICES

4.1- Prices always refer to one unit and are FOB Portugal.

4.2- VAT is not included in the price, this legal tax must be added to the price.

4.3- The price doesn’t include transportation values and fees.

4.4- The stated prices and percentages substitutes any other published or advertised before.


5- PACKAGING

5.1- The packaging is always included in our price, however if the customer requires specific packaging, they will be charged accordingly.

5.2- All products are carefully packed and inspected prior to shipment. We wrap all items in layers of plastic film wrap in our own handmade reusable wooden box, marked as "fragile".

6- SHIPPING POLICY

6.1- When the delivery is requested to LETTERS À LA CARTE, it will be charged apart from the product(s) value.

6.2- LETTERS À LA CARTE ship internationally and overseas.

6.3- When costomers wants to purchase our items and need to know the delivery rates, shipping quotes or import taxes, please contact us by email. Delivery costs are worked out according to the product’s size and weight, as well as where it’s going.

6.4- When the purchaser have any other special shipping requests - such as expediated shipping - please get in touch with us and we will try our best. Express Post charges will apply.

6.5- LETTERS À LA CARTE are not responsible for loss or damage in transit.

6.6- When costomers chooses to transport the product(s) by his own method or mean, LETTERS À LA CARTE will be free of any responsibility due to the transportation.

6.7- International delivery zones
Western Europe- Please allow two to five working days from dispatch.
Rest of Europe- Please allow five to 10 working days from dispatch.
USA, Canada, Asia and Australia- Please allow five to 10 working days from dispatch.
Rest of the world- Please allow five to 14 working days from dispatch.


7- RETURN POLICY

7.1- Pieces that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements are non-refundable, unless faulty.

7.2- Title passes to the purchaser at time the goods are picked up by the carrier in Portugal. The refusal of damaged items in no way relieves the purchaser of responsibility for payment of goods.

7.3- LETTERS À LA CARTE are not responsible for loss or damage in transit. Should visible or concealed damage occur in transit, immediately notify the delivering carrier with initial notification of intent to file a claim.
Please note: Failure to report concealed damage within fifteen days of receipt will result in the denial of your claim.

7.4- Any damage should also be communicated to LETTERS À LA CARTE during the first 48 hours after reception.

7.5-Photographic evidence of the damages should be sent via email to lettersalacarte@gmail.com

7.6- Confirming any damage in the piece(s) that leads to substitution, LETTERS À LA CARTE compromises to substitute the damaged part/piece integrally, and return shipping costs.

7.7- The customer must organise the return courier to us.
Please repackaging the product in the original wooden box.

7.8- It is mandatory to receive the damaged part/piece to change it by the new one.

7.9- Any refunds will be issued within 3-5 working days of receiving the item/s to the Paypal account supplied during the original transaction, or back into the originating bank account if you paid via Direct Deposit.
